Rodolfo's portrait

My name's Rodolfo. I'm a computer scientist and web developer. I've always been interested in computers, videogames, Walkmans, VCRs, cars, the outerspace and science fiction. My hobbies are tinkering with electronics, record/listen to analog audio, car maintenance (and driving pleasure as well) and understanding the inner working of stuff. But, the most important things in my life are family, the catholic faith and getting along with people in the best way possible.

Wanna know more about the green symbol with spheres represented in the main logo?

It's called Glider. It's the universal representation of hackers. However, it is not related to people with bad intentions; these ones are the crackers. The mainstream media enjoys putting everyone in the same category, which is an offense to hackers. Hackers built the Internet and practically everything you use today.

This website was created based on the following goals:

  • Help people;
  • Share knowledge;
  • Enjoy some programming, and;
  • Get better skills by doing it.

Throughout the last (at least) 20 years, I've been looking for information on the web. For every technical issue I had. A lot of simple, one-man made websites helped me in that path. The Internet has always been a huge tool for people to interact and learn (well, it was even better before social media), and I certainly took advantage of it.

But there is a problem. I've never contributed too much. Besides posting in some web forums, I didn't do much to help. The Analytical Computer project can change that, I hope.

I admire simplicity, as well as the appearance of websites from the early 90s to the mid 00s. This page shows that.

I hope you have a good time while browsing this website. Party on, dude!
